PROCUREMENT OFFICER .

In this position, s/he will play a pivotal role in securing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our business. s/he will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the availability of the high-quality equipment and services necessary for the flow of Airlines Cargo Activities.

Missions :

  • Negotiate pricing and supply contracts.
  • Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of supplier performance and the identification of opportunities for improvement
  • Work with a global team member to complete duties as needed.
  • Estimate and establish budgets for purchases.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, logistics, and finance to align procurement needs.
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Review all vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and supply and demand conditions.
  • Maintain purchase records and other important data.
  • Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies.
  • Approval of invoices

Qualifications :

A Degree/bachelor in Purchasing and Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business, Supply Chain Management.

  • Possibly Knowledge of the freight and airline industries

Prerequisite :

Must have relevant experience as procurement officer for a Ground Handling Agreement, using purchasing software, liaising with prospective suppliers, and conducting negotiations.

  • Having a thorough understanding of the freight and airline industries
  • Native French speaker and proficient in English – a must
  • Ability to negotiate contracts.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Accurate attention to detail.
  • Abilities with ERP programs
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
