PROCUREMENT OFFICER .
In this position, s/he will play a pivotal role in securing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our business. s/he will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the availability of the high-quality equipment and services necessary for the flow of Airlines Cargo Activities.
Missions :
- Negotiate pricing and supply contracts.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers.
- Contribute to the evaluation of supplier performance and the identification of opportunities for improvement
- Work with a global team member to complete duties as needed.
- Estimate and establish budgets for purchases.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, logistics, and finance to align procurement needs.
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Review all vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and supply and demand conditions.
- Maintain purchase records and other important data.
- Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies.
- Approval of invoices
Qualifications :
A Degree/bachelor in Purchasing and Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business, Supply Chain Management.
- Possibly Knowledge of the freight and airline industries
Prerequisite :
Must have relevant experience as procurement officer for a Ground Handling Agreement, using purchasing software, liaising with prospective suppliers, and conducting negotiations.
- Having a thorough understanding of the freight and airline industries
- Native French speaker and proficient in English – a must
- Ability to negotiate contracts.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Accurate attention to detail.
- Abilities with ERP programs
